About Ajmal
I write because our inner lives often become visible only after we give them somewhere to exist.
I am a writer, philosopher, and lecturer at Southwest University in Chongqing, China. I write about love, relationships, emotional intelligence, identity, and the messy work of becoming human.
Amare Mortem grew from a question I kept returning to: what if the things we struggle to explain could become places instead? Comparison could become a waiting room where everyone else gets called first. The future could become a restaurant where the life you ordered still leaves you hungry. Boredom could become a retirement you accidentally started decades too early. And rather than simply being told what any of it means, the reader could step inside and discover it for themselves.
